Conference

   Together with our friends from Sweden we decided to hold a special conference during their visit in Poland. The conference was dedicated to energy in aspects of it ecological production (renewables) and limited consumption. Both sides prepared a set of materials, carried out some surveys which results were later presented by students. It were not only people from IInd Secondary School in Olsztyn that participated in the conference but also teachers and lots of other people. This very meeting was kind of summary of our main, starting, point of cooperation with Stromstad's gymnasium. Now between two schools there are much more possibilities and opportunities to seize, there is a real chance for the "project" to expand on history (in aspect of the shared king), civics or even religion. 

During our stay in Stromstad there were two more meetings held. The first one was organized only between the people taking part in the energy project. Then we tried to sum up our work, think of all pros and cons of such a cooperation. We also put out some conclusions for the future, future which was to be decided on a second meeting. This time it was made in a more official way in a conference character. We were introduced to some of the suggestions of the Sweedish side as far as our further co-work is concerned. Some new students were willing to stand in for those who are graduating this year, they thought with us in what way we should develop our new projects. Finally we all came to a conculsion that historic aspect would be very appreciated and we belive that sticking to it may be the way to continue what WE have started ...
